The Dallas Mavericks (2-6) are on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies (3-6). Dallas has lost three in a row and seem like they’re on the brink of something bad. The Grizzlies have lost four straight and are drama, drama, drama.

Here’s the main things you need to know before the game kicks off.

    • WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs Memphis Grizzlies

    • WHAT: Win, for the love of basketball

    • WHERE: FedEd Center, Memphis, Tennessee

The injury report is what’s become normal in Dallas: Kyrie Irving out, Dante Exum out, Anthony Davis doubtful. and Dereck Lively out. I think Lively is at least close to coming back. The Davis upgrade makes me think he will play tomorrow night against the Wizards. Memphis is also dealing with issues in their rotation. Zach Edey is still out after surgery as is Brandon Clarke. Ty Jerome is out with a calf strain and Scottie Pippen Jr. is out, recovering from a toe surgery.

The guys wrote a TON on the home page. Go read it.

There’s a lot, as you can see. That’s just from today. If you avoided the site, there’s more things from the day before. Go read and support our work!

As you can tell below, you can join me in a room on Playback (embed below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTube, we should start around 10:15 pm. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
