CLEMSON, S.C. – Boston College men’s soccer team (5-2-2, 1-2-1 ACC) x against No. 14 Clemson (7-2, 3-1 ACC), 4-0, in ACC play on Friday night at Historic Riggs Field.
Clemson took the lead in the 40th minute after a Tigers challenge resulted in a penalty kick, which they slotted into the far corner.
Clemson doubled their lead in the 57th minute when a bouncing cross was redirected into the net by the Tigers.
Clemson scored twice in the 75th and 83rd minutes to extend their lead to four goals.
Clemson held the edge in corners (7-1) and shots on goal (9-0).
Boston College is back in action next Saturday at 3:00 p.m. when they host North Carolina. The game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
