BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College rowing team finished their fall racing slate with seven boats competing at the Foot of the Charles.
“Racing today showed some good things and some things to work on, there’s promise and depth with a relatively young group,” said head coach Grace Hallowell. “We are looking forward to dialing things in physically, technically, and mentally over the next few months. Now it’s time to put hay in the barn as we look towards spring!”
The Varsity 8+ boat coxed by Lucy Fortner with rowers Lauren Craven, Callaghan Nickerson, Sofia Martin, Kirsten Thorn, Reagan Rock, Eva Croney-Ferraiuoli, Quinn Baker, and Ella Ryan were the top finishers for the Eagles. They crossed the finish line in fourth with a time of 13:32.1.
The second, third and fourth varsity boats finished one after another in eighth, ninth, and tenth in the varsity eight race.
