PARK CITY, Utah, and STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 21, 2026 – NBC Sports will present every alpine World Cup and World Championship race as part of a revamped new media rights agreements with U.S. Ski & Snowboard and the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). The partnership between NBC Sports and U.S. Ski & Snowboard has been extended through 2030, both parties announced today.

Under the expanded agreement with U.S. Ski & Snowboard and FIS, NBC Sports will be the home of every alpine World Cup and World Championship race. All races will stream on Peacock, with additional coverage presented on the NBC broadcast network and NBCSN for major events.

Domestic events will also be available on demand on both Peacock and YouTube. NBC Sports’ commitment to U.S. Ski & Snowboard and FIS is in addition to its coverage of the Alpes 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The new agreement returns some of the biggest events in Alpine skiing to NBC Sports, including the Stifel Sun Valley Finals, the Hahnenkamm Races from Kitzbühel, Austria, the Stifel Killington Cup presented by Dunkin’, and next year’s FIS Alpine World Ski Championships from Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

“For years, fans had to work harder than they should have to watch our athletes compete,” said Sophie Goldschmidt, President and CEO of U.S. Ski & Snowboard. “We are thrilled that the new centralized broadcast strategy we’ve worked on with FIS and the other countries removes that friction. This is a new era, which now makes it easier to watch our sports and follow your favorite athletes. Along with our other content initiatives, this helps to further grow our sports.”

“Our expanded partnership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard and FIS gives NBC Sports an incredible opportunity to connect fans with world-class competition and the athletes at the heart of it all,” said Joe Gesue, SVP, NBC Sports Olympic & Paralympic Programming. “We’re especially proud to showcase this extraordinary generation of stars and tell the stories behind their journeys as we build momentum toward the 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.”

NBC Sports’ domestic U.S. Ski & Snowboard World Cup schedule in 2026-27 includes alpine World Cup events at Copper Mountain, Colo., Killington, Vt., Beaver Creek, Colo., and the Stifel World Cup Finals in Sun Valley, Idaho. Additionally, NBC Sports will present Freestyle World Cup events at Lake Placid, N.Y., Waterville Valley, N.H., and Deer Valley, Utah; Ski Jumping World Cup events at Lake Placid; Snowboard and Freeski World Cup events in Aspen, Colo., Copper Mountain, Colo., and Breckenridge, Colo.

Coverage begins this weekend in Soelden, Austria, with the men’s and women’s giant slalom races, featuring three-time Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, with her first run at 4 a.m. ET and second run at 7 a.m. ET on Oct. 24 on Peacock. Coverage of U.S. World Cups will begin with the Stifel Killington Cup on Nov. 28, with the second run of the women’s giant slalom at 12:30 p.m. ET and second run of the women’s slalom at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Further programming details for NBC Sports’ U.S. Ski & Snowboard schedule will be announced at a later date.

Additionally, as part of U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s addition of freeride as a new sport, Peacock also will provide on-demand coverage of the U.S. stop of the Freeride World Tour (FWT). Earlier this year the International Olympic Committee announced that Freeride has been added to the program for the 2030 Winter Olympics.

Team USA earned 17 medals – five of them gold – across alpine, cross-country, freestyle, ski jumping, and snowboarding at the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, trailing only Norway in the overall medal count. Mikaela Shiffrin won the gold medal in slalom, her third career Olympic gold medal, becoming the first U.S. skier to win two Olympic slalom gold medals as well as the oldest and youngest U.S. woman to win Olympic alpine gold (age 18 at 2014 Sochi and age 30 at 2026 Milan Cortina).

NBCUniversal owns the U.S. media rights to the Olympic Games through 2036, which are scheduled for Los Angeles (2028), French Alps (2030), Brisbane (2032), Salt Lake City (2034), and the 2036 Summer Olympics.
