NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Boston College Women’s Golf is coming off the team’s fifth straight Red Bandanna Invitational championship, where Frances Kim won the individual title. The team now sets their sights on the Yale Invitational this Saturday, Oct. 3.
This will be the first time the team has competed in the Yale Invitational since the 2022-2023 season. In 2021, the Eagles placed first in the invitational hosted by Yale University. The invitational will see six different players qualify for scoring instead of the traditional five.
The Yale Golf Course opened in 1926, making it 100 years since the property has been in operation. The course features elements of the game that can truly fuel competition with two classic holes named the Biarritz and Redan.
Competition will be played at 6,190 yards and will be par 72. Juliette Demeaux will tee off first for the Eagles at 8:15 a.m to start round one. Day two will begin with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start.
