CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men’s basketball head coach Luke Murray, along with Jacob Furphy and Money Williams, will represent the Eagles at the 2026 ACC Tipoff on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina.
ACC Network will provide live coverage from Charlotte featuring interviews with coaches and student-athletes from across the conference. TV times or coach and player live appearances will be provided at a later date.
Murray, entering his first season at BC, brings more than a decade of coaching experience at the highest levels of collegiate basketball, including playing a key role in two national championships at Connecticut as an assistant coach.
Furphy, a 6-foot-6 guard, joins Boston College after appearing in 14 games at UConn last season, including the BIG EAST Championship and NCAA Tournament. A native of Tasmania, Australia, Furphy brings extensive international experience, averaging 16.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup. He also helped Australia capture gold at the 2024 FIBA U18 Asia Cup, averaging 16.8 points while shooting 46.4% from 3-point range.
Williams, a 6-foot-4 guard, joins Boston College following three seasons at Montana, where he became one of six players in program history with 1,000 points, 300 rebounds and 300 assists. The Oakland, Calif., native led the Big Sky Conference in scoring (20.6 points per game) in 2025-26, earning unanimous first-team All-Big Sky honors and Big Sky Tournament MVP recognition after setting a tournament record with 91 points across three games, including a career-high 40 against Northern Colorado.
