HAMPDEN, Mass. — The Boston College Men’s Golf team returns to the course to compete in the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse in Hampden, Mass. at the GreatHorse Golf Club.
Last season, the Eagles placed second at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse, where Markus Lam won the individual title after a two-hole playoff. Lam shot 4-under par overall and recorded a 5-under-par 67 in the second round. This will be the fourth consecutive season Boston College has competed in the invitational.
The GreatHorse Golf Club has a beautiful setting that is perfect for high-level golf. The course offers great views of the Connecticut River Valley, according to the club’s website. The club is designed for multipurpose use for competition but also for relaxation.
The invitational will be played at par 72 and measures 7,093 yards. The Eagles will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, and each round will begin the next day, at the same time.
