NEWTON, Mass. – Seven different Eagles found the back of the net as the Boston College women’s soccer team opened the 2026 season with a dominant 7-1 victory over Siena on Wednesday afternoon at the Newton Soccer Complex.

Emily Mara, Nicolette Kiorpes, Tess Barrett and Ashley Roberts each scored in the first half as the Eagles built a 4-0 advantage at the break. Anndi Wright, Sophie Reale and Addy Kalaw added goals in the second half to cap the seven-goal performance.

Boston College wasted little time finding its offensive rhythm, scoring four times in the opening half while holding Siena without a goal. The Eagles continued their offensive pressure after halftime, adding three more goals to secure the season-opening victory.

Reale, in her second season with the Eagles, finished with a goal and an assist while registering a team-high six shots, including four on target. Barrett added a goal and an assist, while Amalia Dray recorded two assists. Kalaw capped the scoring with her first career goal at Boston College, while the Eagles received additional assists from Milla Lee and Alex Schoenstadt. Boston College’s seven goals came from seven different players. Faith Fenwick made three saves in the victory, while Siena goalkeeper Cate Burns recorded eight saves.

The Eagles controlled the match from start to finish, holding a 26-10 advantage in shots and earning 10 corner kicks compared to five for the Saints. Boston College put 16 shots on target, compared to four for Siena.

The Eagles return to action on Monday, Aug. 17 against Saint John’s at 4 p.m. at the Newton Soccer Complex.
