“Our new headquarters reflects an important milestone for Solect and the continued growth of our team,” said John Bodt, CEO of Solect Energy. “Our best work happens when our people are together collaborating, sharing ideas and advancing clean energy solutions for our customers. This new space enables the teamwork required to develop and integrate complex projects and strengthens our ability to deliver safe, high-performing solar and energy storage systems.”

Solect Energy has been headquartered in Hopkinton since its founding in 2009. It serves a customer base across New England and throughout the Northeast. Solect employs approximately 125 people, many of whom work from the Hopkinton headquarters.

“We’re proud of what Solect has built over the past 16 years and the trust our customers have placed in us,” said Ken Driscoll, executive chairman and co-founder of Solect Energy. “We’re continuing to grow stronger by investing in our people, capabilities and future. We’re grateful to be headquartered in Massachusetts, where strong policy and market support continue to advance solar and energy storage.”

Solect Energy has completed more than 900 projects totaling over 185 MW of solar capacity for municipalities, schools, businesses and nonprofit organizations. The company plans to mark the opening of its new headquarters with a series of events for employees, partners, and customers in the coming months.
