MANITOBA – Boston College senior defenseman Lukas Gustafsson has signed an AHL contract with the Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets, beginning in the 2026-27 season. Gustafsson joins the Moose on an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

The captain finished the 2025-26 season fifth on the Eagles in points (22) and assists (16), both of which were the most by a defenseman on the team. He posted six multi-point games, including a three-point performance against Boston University in the Beanpot Championship. Gustafsson was named a Hockey East Third Team All-Star after finishing with 12 points on four goals and eight assists across the 24 league contests.

The Atlanta, Georgia native skated in 147 games on the blue line over his four-year career, finishing with 14 goals and 58 assists for 72 points. During his time on the Heights, Gustafsson won two Hockey East regular season titles, a Hockey East Tournament Championship, one Beanpot, and helped guide the program to its 12th National Championship appearance back in the 2023-24 season.
