    Firefighters in Medford, Massachusetts, battled a fire Wednesday at a multifamily home.The fire started just before 7 a.m. at 212 Central Ave. and charred the back half of the residence. Video from the scene showed heavy flames and thick smoke in the rear of the building.Firefighters dealt with water pressure issues when they first arrived at the scene.Four people were able to escape the fire. One person went to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and is expected to be OK, officials said.”I heard some noise, then I saw an orange glow on the wall. I looked out the window, and I saw a fire on the lower back part of the deck,” neighbor William Toll said. “When you get those multiple calls, you know you have something,” Medford Fire Department Deputy Chief Bill Young said. “We saw smoke from a half-mile away. Some of the guys saw it from Everett, so we knew we had something.”The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
