There’s been a lot to celebrate in 2025 on the Massachusetts high school sports scene. Thankfully, the students involved in the Globe’s photojournalism program were on hand to capture a lot of it.

The program is unlike any other in the country. It is free to join for any student at any high school in the state. More than 460 students were signed up this year, representing more than 200 high schools and contributing more than 2,000 sports photos for Globe readers to enjoy.

With the new year comes another opportunity for more people to join. The process is easy and starts by filling out a simple form here.

In the meantime, please enjoy the final weekly photo gallery of 2025, with more than three dozen images from more than a dozen students — three of whom are being showcased for the first time.

And, as an end-of-year bonus, check out the rest of the 2025 weekly photo galleries in the links below!
