CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College earned a 5–4 overtime win against Maine on Saturday afternoon at Conte Forum, capped by a power-play goal 2:21 into the extra session.

The Eagles struck early, scoring three times in the opening period. Olivia Maffeo opened the scoring at 2:47, finishing a feed from Emma Conner. After Maine answered on the power play, BC regained control with back-to-back goals from Madelyn Murphy at 11:54 and Jade Arnone at 14:23 to take a 3–1 lead into the first intermission.

Maine closed the gap with a power-play goal midway through the second period, but Maffeo answered again at 15:34, converting on the man advantage to restore BC’s two-goal cushion.

The Black Bears rallied in the third, tying the game with goals at 14:08 and 17:13 to force overtime.

Boston College capitalized in the extra frame as Sammy Taber buried the game-winning goal on the power play at 2:21, with assists from Murphy and Ava Thomas.

Bailey Callaway earned the win in net, stopping 34 shots in 62:21 of action.
