CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2025 Men’s Soccer All-ACC Academic Team on Thursday afternoon and two Eagles were named to the list.
Senior Ask Ekeland and junior Moritz Gundelach earned the recognition for the second-straight year.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0-grade point average for the previous two semesters and 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and being classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
Ekeland played in all 17 games and finished the season second in goals (5) and points (14) for the Eagles, highlighted by a two-goal performance in the 2-1 victory over Saint Joseph’s on senior night. Gundelach bolstered the back line, starting all 14 games that he appeared in, including eight games in which he played all 90 minutes.
