Aubrey Rego

Player of the Year
Rego, who signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Division 1 University of Missouri at St. Louis, is making her third straight appearance as a Sun All-Star. The senior center-midfielder notched 11 goals, giving her 36 in her career, and added 12 assists. She played a significant role in the Middies’ 13 wins and trip to the second round of the Division 3 state tournament. Rego was named to MVC All-Conference and Eastern Mass. All-Star teams. In addition to playing for DHS, Rego competes for South Shore Select ECNL and plays futsal for Safira.
Delaney Auger
Nashoba Tech
Player of the Year
One of the area’s all-time scorers, Auger found the back of the net 19 times and added 14 assists this season, giving her an eye-popping 107 goals, 75 assists and a program-record 182 points over her four seasons. As a sophomore, she set the program record with 35 goals in a season. A two-year captain and four-year league all-star, Auger helped lead the Vikings to a 14-5-2 record, including two state tournament wins, and to the program’s fourth straight state tournament and State Voc appearances. Over the last three seasons, she’s been a part of 45 wins. A talented lacrosse player, Auger is a top student in the school’s Dental Assisting Program.
Eleni Stowell
Westford Academy
Player of the Year
Playing out of her normal striker position as a midfielder to improve the team, Stowell led the Grey Ghosts in scoring with 12 goals and four assists. She helped lead Westford to a 10-6-2 record. She was selected to the Dual County League all-league and Eastern Mass. All-Star teams for the second straight time, as well as to the All-State team. Stowell holds a 4.2 GPA, has been on the high honor roll all four years, is a two-time National Latin Exam silver medalist and a member of the National Latin Honor Society. She volunteers her time with Best Buddies, as a youth soccer coach, as an ASFL soccer ambassador, and has been selected as a 2025 Fall Ambassador for the Shot for Life charity. Stowell has committed to play at Division 1 University of Vermont.
Sadie Locke
Billerica
Named the Merrimack Valley Conference’s Goalie of the Year, and an All-Conference and Eastern Mass. second All-Star selection, Locke was a lockdown goalie for the Indians. She made 81 saves, posted seven shutouts, and finished with a 1.29 GAA, while leading the Indians to the Division 2 state tournament. “Sadie is an incredibly talented goalie with excellent in-game decision-making skills. She is fearless and made some phenomenal saves,” said head coach Kristen Yohn. A junior, Locke is also a member of the outdoor track and field team.
Olivia Marcouillier
Billerica
A senior captain, Marcouillier, a left defensive back, led the team in scoring with six goals and four assists. She played a pivotal role in the team’s seven shutouts and 5-6-6 record, which included reaching the Division 2 state tournament. She was named to the MVC All-Conference and Eastern Mass. second teams. “Olivia is a speedy and skilled player who reads the game incredibly well,” said head coach Kristen Yohn. “She really took advantage of opportunities and created offensive plays in the final third.” Marcouillier is a member of the outdoor track team.
Olivia McDonnell
Chelmsford
With her speed and ability to stop opposing forwards in 1-on-1 battles, McDonnell was one of the top center-defenders in the area. She was instrumental in the Lions’ 9-5-4 record and trip to the D1 tournament. She led a defensive unit that allowed just 10 goals in 20 games. She also chipped in a goal and three assists. A captain and team MVP, she was selected to the MVC All-Conference and Eastern Mass. second teams. A starting defender in lacrosse, McDonnell is weighing her options of playing Division 3 soccer.
Lacie Martin
Dracut
A senior striker, Martin had a nose for the net, scoring 17 goals and adding five assists, while helping Dracut finish with a 13-6-1 record. Martin scored two goals in the team’s preliminary round tournament win over Notre Dame Academy of Worcester before the team fell to Pope Francis in the Round of 32. “Lacie has been a phenomenal asset for us with her speed. Not many people can stop her,” said head coach Brianna Enger. Martin was named to the MVC, Eastern Mass. and All-State teams. She has committed to play at Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.
Lillyana Githitu
Greater Lowell
Githitu closed out a fantastic career with 30 goals and nine assists, including 13 tallies this season. The senior forward/midfielder and a three-year team captain helped the Gryphons finish 9-6-3. The team was second in the CAC, a State Voc finalist and competed in the Division 3 state tournament. The four-year starter was named the team MVP and a Commonwealth Athletic Conference All-Star for the second straight year. She was part of four state tournament appearances, two league titles, a State Voc championship, and three State Voc finalist teams.
Audrey Doyle
Littleton
Making her second appearance on the Sun’s All-Star team, Doyle missed the first half of the season due to an ankle injury. She came back and scored six goals and added eight assists in the final 13 games, while leading the Tigers to the state championship game. She closed out her career with 39 goals, 25 assists and 64 points. Doyle also led the Tigers to two other trips to the state semifinals. A team captain who displayed tremendous leadership, Doyle will play soccer at Endicott College, where she will study nursing.
Elizabeth Marrese
Littleton
Previously an outside defender, Marrese moved to center-back and didn’t miss a beat. In fact, she was even better. She orchestrated a defense that posted nine shutouts and allowed fewer than one goal per game. The team finished 16-5-1, including four state tournament wins before falling 1-0 to Sutton in the Division 4 state championship. A team captain, she also chipped in two assists. Marrese is a league all-star lacrosse player at LHS. Her brother Brian is a member of the Saint Anselm men’s lacrosse team. Marrese will attend the University of Central Florida.
Alex Corey
Littleton
Committed to play at Saint Michael’s College, Corey was a significant factor in distributing the ball and stopping opposing forwards as a center midfielder. A two-year captain, she finished the season with two goals and eight assists, giving her career total of nine goals and 17 assists. A three-year starter, she was part of 47 wins, including 10 in three deep state tournament runs, most notably this year’s trip to the Division 4 state final. Named a Sun second-team all-star as a junior, Corey is also a member of the FC Stars Club team.
Shayla Strickland
Lowell Catholic
A two-year captain and two-time team MVP, Strickland’s leadership, teamwork skills and determination played a key role in the Crusaders’ first trip to postseason play in six years. Versatile between midfield and defense, Strickland was named the Commonwealth Athletic Conference Division 2 Player of the Year and a league all-star for the third straight year. She finished with 15 goals, 17 assists and 32 points. An honor roll student who is part of the school’s Diversity Inclusion Club, Strickland has been part of the track teams and plays soccer for the FC Stars club team.
Ava Valdanbrini
North Middlesex
A senior defensive sweeper, Valdanbrini led the Patriots to a program-best 14-3-3 record and first-ever Mid-Wach B title. She scored the winning goal, giving the team the league championship, and helped push the team past East Boston in a preliminary round game before losing to Dover-Sherborn. She was the defensive leader and part of a unit that won half of its games by shutout. “Ava is the complete package – combining exceptional technical skill, athletic ability and a deep understanding of the game. Beyond her individual performance, Ava consistently elevates those around her, bringing strength, stability, and confidence to the lineup,” said head coach Sean Wisbey.
Lexy Brodeur
Pelham
As a junior, Brodeur was part of a team that won just one game. This season, she led the Pythons to the NHIAA Division 2 playoffs after scoring 16 goals and adding nine assists. She was named one of the top 11 players in the state by the NHSCA, ranked first among midfielders and No. 2 overall in D2. She was also invited to compete in the Lions’ Cup game. The senior captain, who split time between midfield and defense, closed out her career with 98 points. She played a big part in the team’s state title two years ago. An elite student, she will play soccer at the University of New England.
Sophia Nazzaro
Tewksbury
A junior defender, Nazzaro helped lead the Redmen to an 11-6-5 record, which included a trip to the Division 3 state quarterfinals. She anchored a defense that pitched nine shutouts and gave up one goal in seven other games. Nazzaro was named to the MVC All-Conference, Eastern Mass. and the Mass. state teams. She also competes in track. “As our center-back, Sophia is strong, fast, poised and technically talented. She has a no-quit mentality and matches up with any forward in the league. She is the team’s control center and takes command on the field,” said head coach Brooke Pacheco.
Cordelia Zwirek
Tewksbury
Making her third straight appearance on the Sun’s All-Star team, Zwirek is a three-time MVC All-Confernece selection, a two-time Eastern Mass. first team pick and this year a second team all-star selection, and last year was named to the All-State team. A striker, she led the team with 15 goals and added seven assists, while pushing the Redmen into the Division 3 state quarterfinals. She has 47 goals in three seasons. “Cordelia is a very skilled forward who is exceptionally talented with the ball on her foot. She has a drive to get the ball to the goal and does well taking players on 1v1,” said head coach Brooke Pacheco.
Lyla Chapman
Tewksbury
A two-time Sun girls soccer and girls hockey All-Star, Chapman was named to the MVC All-Conference team for the second time, to the Eastern Mass. second team (first team as a sophomore), and last year was named to the All-State team. A junior midfielder who battled an injury, she scored nine goals and added eight assists, while leading the team’s charge with three postseason victories. Committed to play at Division 1 UMass Lowell, Chapman, an excellent student, is also a member of the outdoor track team.
Cathryn MacDonald
Wilmington
MacDonald led the Wildcats to a successful13-win season, the Middlesex League Freedom Division crown and a trip to the Division 3 quarterfinals. She led the team with 13 goals, bringing her career total to 23. A senior, she was named to the Middlesex League All-Star team for the second straight year, to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team, and as the Wildcats’ MVP. A three-sport athlete, MacDonald is a league all-star on the indoor track team and a lacrosse captain.
Alexa Coward
Westford Academy
A two-time Dual County League All-Star who was named to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team a year after being selected to the second team, Coward, a junior midfielder, helped guide the Grey Ghosts to a 10-win season and a trip to the second round of the Division 1 state tournament. A two-time Sun All-Star, she was a lockdown, dominating defender. Coward also plays basketball at WA. She is a high honor-roll student who was named the Emerging Leader Award winner and volunteers with local food pantries, and youth soccer and basketball clinics.
Jennifer Goff
Littleton
Coach of the Year
In just her second season as head coach, Goff led the Tigers to a 16-5-1 record, which included four state tournament wins before falling 1-0 in the Division 4 state final to four-time state champion Sutton. She said assistant coaches David Caouette and Sam Palmer deserve as much credit for the team’s success. Goff played soccer in high school in Plattsburgh, N.Y., then played for four years at Plattsburgh State. She began her coaching career as the JV coach at Springfield College, then spent three years at Fredonia State —two as the lacrosse coach — and a year at New England College, and three years as an assistant at Boston University. Goff is in her ninth year as a mathematics teacher at Littleton Middle School.
