    Connor Glew scored the lone goal in Bromfield’s 1-0 win over Rockland in the Division 4 state championship boys soccer game in Leominster.

    The goal was assisted by his brother, Liam Glew, and the victory handed the Trojans the 14th state championship in program history. That is the most of any boys soccer program across the MIAA.

    Football

    Dominick Renzoni rushed for four touchdowns to lead No. 3 West Boylston (9-2) to a 42-22 Div. 8 state semifinal win over No. 2 Lee.

    Blue Hills advanced to the MVADA Small championship game with a 24-21 final over Northeast. Mikey McDonagh opened the scoring with a 15-yard rushing touchdown and added the 2-point conversion. Colton Metcalf later connected with McDonagh for a 22-yard touchdown pass, followed by a 2-point rush from Kanyinsola Olanrewaju. Olanrewaju added a 1-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, with Tyson Kimbrough-Farmer converting the two-point attempt.

    On Thursday, South Shore Voke advanced to the MVADA Small championship game with a 36-20 victory over Keefe Tech in the semifinals.

    Johnny Burgio led the Vikings with 67 rushing yards and two touchdowns, Jayden Fraser had 59 rushing yards and a touchdown, Ryan Holmes had 54 rushing yards and a touchdown, Joseph Humphreys had a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown and a fumble recovery while Beau Johnson had two sacks and a forced fumble….Diman advanced to the MVADA Large championship game with a 21-20 victory over Greater Lawrence. James McKenzie scored two second half touchdowns while Alexis Gonzalez added the other.

    Girls soccer

    Ava Magnuson buried the winning goal with less than a minute remaining to give No. 1 Sutton a 1-0 win over No. 6 Littleton in the Div. 4 state championship. Sutton seized its fifth straight state championship.
