Here are the notable performances in the past week from high school golfers in Eastern Mass. conferences/leagues.
Thomas Constantine and Chris Morrow Xaverian — Each earned medalist honors twice as the Hawks finished off a 16-0 regular season with wins over Mansfield, St. John’s Prep, Wellesley, and St. John’s (Shrewsbury). Morrow, a sophomore, carding a 5-under-par 31 in the 214-257 victory over Mansfield at Brookmeadow CC.
Harry Garland, Central Catholic — A strong finish to a stellar season for the senior captain: He carded 3-under 33 at Atkinson RCC and a 1-under 34 at Bradford CC as the Raiders finished their year at 12-2-1.
Colin Gleason, Barnstable — After a third straight individual title at the Vineyard Cup last weekend, the senior followed by defending his individual crown at the 68th Cape Cod School Boy Championship at Willowbend County Club, propelling to Red Hawks to a repeat.
Patrick Maloney, Wakefield — The junior captain capped the regular season with stellar play: a 4-under 32 at Thomson CC on Monday to win his match, 7.5-1.5, against Belmont, an even-par 71 at Bear Hill to take home medalist honors in the Middlesex League Shootout, and a 2-over 37 at Winchester CC to finish a 14-0 undefeated year for the Warriors.
Jai Moulton, Dover-Sherborn — The junior had a day at TPC Boston in a 235-243 win over Norton, shooting a 3-under 33 to finish a 14-1 season for the seven-time Tri-Valley League champion Raiders.
