EB junior quarterback John King had a hand in seven touchdowns, running for four and throwing three to improve to 5-1.

That was the wildest score from a Friday night that saw big performances and a few surprising upsets.

For the first time since Nov. 10, 2022, Uxbridge walked off the field without a win.

That’s because Auburn came to town and stunned the two-time defending Division 7 champions, 39-33, in overtime on Bradyn Belanger’s 8-yard touchdown run, his fourth of the game. That snapped Uxbridge’s 31-game winning streak, the longest in the state.

That leaves Shawsheen (19 in a row) with the longest active win streak in the state, with Catholic Memorial (17) not far behind.

Overall, six teams fell from the ranks of the unbeaten — Stoneham, Gloucester, Fairhaven, Canton, Lincoln-Sudbury, and Weymouth — leaving 21 Eastern Mass. teams with unblemished records (and three prep schools).

Weymouth was one of three Globe Top 20 teams to fall Friday, losing 19-6 to previously winless Brockton, which got a pair of scores, including a 55-yard pick-6 from Jarred Mighty.

No. 20 Plymouth South, coming off a big 20-15 win over Scituate that propelled them into the poll, fell to Quincy, 25-22 on Brayden O’Connell’s 22-yard field goal as time expired, despite being iced twice. Quincy (5-0) remains one of the 21 unblemished.

No. 14 Methuen took down No. 4 Central Catholic, 30-20, behind two touchdown passes from Caiden Hartley-Didio and a game-sealing pick-6 from Cole Smith.

▪ Among his four total touchdowns — three rushing, as well as catching the winning 40-yard score — West Bridgewater senior Ty Holmes scored his 50th career touchdown in a 47-43 win over Fairhaven.

▪ With a 35-7 win over Wachusett, longtime Milton coach Steve Dembowski recorded his 200th career win.

Cam Cort, Weston — The senior quarterback threw four touchdown passes, three of which went to Alex Palmer, and ran for a pair of short touchdowns in a 45-10 win over Boston Latin. He added three point-after kicks.

John King, East Bridgewater — The junior had a hand in seven touchdowns during the Vikings’ 58-56 four-overtime win over Rockland. He ran for four and threw three more.

Christian McIntyre, Xaverian — The senior caught eight passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns in the Hawks’ 40-16 Catholic Conference win over St. John’s (Shrewsbury).

Marvelous Pleasant, Rockland — He only ran for 92 yards, but the junior scored six times in that 58-56 loss to East Bridgewater.

Jonny Sullivan, Tewksbury — The senior caught a 14-yard tochdown pass from Will Harrison in a 35-0 win over Billerica, but it was his work on defense that stood out with a forced fumble on the opening drive and two interceptions that helped stake the Redmen to a 21-0 first-half lead.

Cam Testa, East Boston — The senior did it all, running for 103 yards and three touchdown, scoring a pair of 2-point conversions, making six tackles, and intercepting a pass in a 30-8 Boston City League win over O’Bryant.

Declan Walker, Tri-County — The senior completed 12 of 21 passes for 232 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-17 Mayflower win over Bristol-Plymouth, joining Cam Cort (Weston), Hudson Garrity (Archbishop Williams) and Chris Vargas (St. John’s Prep) as the only QBs to toss four TD passes Friday.
