PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — A Massachusetts man is facing 121 months in prison after being sentenced in U.S. District Court in Providence for trafficking over three pounds of crystal methamphetamine.

According to United States Attorney Charles Calenda, Hector Gonzalez Michel, 35, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, intended to deliver a “substantial quantity” of crystal meth to someone in Boston. That information was reportedly developed by the Rhode Island DEA Task Force.

The task force, along with the Boston DEA Task Force and Boston police, reportedly intercepted that delivery and discovered 3.4 pounds of the substance.
