The Tennessee Titans have another player added to the injury list ahead of their matchup with the New England Patriots.

Punter Johnny Hekker has been ruled questionable with an illness by the Titans, putting his availability in doubt against the Patriots on Oct. 19 (noon CT, CBS).

The Titans do not have another punter on the roster, though they could look to add one before the game against the Patriots.

Hekker, 35, is in his first season with the Titans, averaging 42 net yards per punt. He’s landed nine punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line, a 31% rate.

Over 14 seasons, Hekker has 992 career punts with a career 42.8 net yards per punt average. He started his career with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams (2012-21), then played three seasons with the Carolina Panthers (2022-24).

Hekker replaced Ryan Stonehouse, who spent three seasons with Titans. He was unsigned in the offseason.
