    Kona, Hawaii, will host the 2025 Ironman World Championship, scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 11.

    The athletes will embark on a 140.4-mile quest, which includes a 2.4-mile swim in Kailua Bay, a 112-mile bike ride along the iconic Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway, and a 26.2-mile run back to the Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway via Palani Road.

    Nine out of last year’s top 10, including the defending champion Laura Phillip, Kat Matthews, Lucy Charles-Barclay, and Taylor Knibb, will line up for this year’s event.

    The 2025 Ironman World Championship won’t be broadcast nationally, but you can watch the action on Outside TV.

    What time is the Ironman World Championship?

    • Date: Saturday, October. 11

    The 2025 Ironman World Championship from Kona will start at 6:25 a.m. local time (HST), which translates to 12:25 p.m. ET, on Saturday, October. 11. The athletes will begin with a 2.4-mile swim course, followed by a 112-mile bike course and end with a 26.2-mile race.
