Leading the way for Boston College in the season opener was John Garvey, who set the pace for the Eagles’ pack across the 8k layout, securing a top individual finish after running a 24:50.6.
Close behind in the scoring group was John Bianchi in fifth place with a time of 24:53.8, alongside Aidan Brancaccio in seventh place at 24:54.7.
Closing out the scoring lineup for Boston College was Sean Fleming (25:01.9) in ninth place and Roman Sierpina (25:02.9) in tenth place. Both runners also secured personal bests in the 8k.
The Eagles rounded out their lineup with strong performances from Ben Andrus, Nick Loffredo, Diego, and Tommy Flynn, all finishing in the top 50.
Boston College now turns its focus to the Princeton Fall Classic, hosted by Princeton on Friday, October 16.
