The 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup will wrap up group play on Monday with a handful of matchups, including a battle between the USA and Czechia.
Team USA reigns supreme at the Women’s World Cup, and is considered the heavy favorite for another global title this year. There are no guarantees, though, as the Americans’ narrow 55-52 escape against Italy on Sunday showed.
Meanwhile, Czechia’s national team will be making its fourth appearance in the Women’s World Cup, and looking to top their best outcome, which was a silver medal in 2010. The Czech side will have to find their stride without star center Julia Reisingerová, who is still in recovery from surgery.
