The Giants waived Muasau on Sunday. The Patriots claimed the 25-year-old to slot into the 53-man roster as one of the primary backups at inside linebacker. Muasau will likely see relief snaps behind Christian Elliss and Robert Spillane throughout the regular season. The Patriots released K.J Britt in a corresponding move.
