CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Gregory P. Barber ’69 and Family Head Coach Bill O’Brien will be featured on the ACC Huddle Special: Play-Calling 101 tonight at 7:00 p.m. on the ACC Network.
The one-hour special brings together O’Brien, SMU’s Rhett Lashlee and Virginia’s Tony Elliott for an in-depth roundtable on one of football’s most scrutinized responsibilities.
Moderated by Wes Durham, the coaches discuss whether play-calling is more art or science, how mentors shaped their philosophies and how their approaches have evolved with the modern game. They also break down the best – and worst – play calls of their careers.
The 2026 Boston College Eagles will take the field one week from Saturday, traveling to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 3:30 p.m. on FOX.
