CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College has entered into a partnership with CLC, the nation’s leading collegiate licensing company, to help advance its trademark licensing program and further expand its brand at retail across the global marketplace.

Through this new collaboration, Boston College gains access to CLC’s expansive industry reach, expertise and customized approach to brand management and marketing. BC will also be able to tap into CLC’s robust systems and data to help BC make more informed decisions on its licensed vendors and retail strategies.

“We are excited to partner with CLC and leverage their industry expertise and network to strengthen the Boston College brand,” said Blake James, the William V. Campbell Director of Athletics at Boston College. “This partnership will enhance the variety and accessibility of products for our fans and help us continue to find meaningful ways to engage our alumni and supporters around the world.”

The new partnership builds on BC’s existing efforts to deliver innovative merchandise, retail programs, and brand activations while maximizing brand value. CLC also provides BC with access to proven national marketing campaigns and scalable licensing programs to connect with students, alumni, and supporters everywhere.

“Boston College is a highly respected brand with a long history of success built on the unique culture and traditions as one of the top Jesuit universities in the world, and we are honored to be entrusted to help bring their brand story to life through licensed merchandise,” said John Greeley, CLC’s SVP of Partnerships. “Our CLC team is committed to working side by side with BC to help grow the Boston College brand in a competitive retail marketplace.”

Boston College joins 15 additional Atlantic Coast Conference member institutions currently represented by CLC.
