A four-year member of the Boston College Football program, Griffin has played in 18 career games for the Eagles, totaling three tackles, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery. In addition, the two-time All-ACC Academic Team member recorded his first interception after deflecting a pass vs. SMU last season.
Griffin has played an integral part in several key community service initiatives throughout his time on The Heights over the last four seasons:
- Team IMPACT, Quincy, MA – Weekly in-season participation and the Team IMPACT Field Day this past June.
- The Beautiful Lives Project – Participated in “Field of Dreams” event in June, allowing dozens of individuals with special needs and full-time care to share the field with him and other members of the Eagles program.
- Adopt-A-Child – Helped the Boston College Football program raise thousands of dollars for children and families in need.
The Springfield, Mass. native is one of 16 ACC nominees, ranking second among all conferences in total nominations.
The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team reflects Allstate’s longstanding commitment to supporting student-athletes who strengthen their communities through service. In total, 162 student-athletes around the country were recognized for leadership in service, academics and athletics.
