SAN JOSE – Boston College captain and senior forward Andre Gasseau has signed a two-year, two-way entry-level contract with the National Hockey League’s (NHL) San Jose Sharks, as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
Originally selected in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins, Gasseau’s draft rights to the San Jose Sharks on June 18, 2026.
Gasseau ended his four-year career on the Heights with 135 games played, posting 111 points on 43 goals and 68 assists. After missing the majority of the first half of the 2025-26 season with an injury, he finished the season making 23 appearances with six goals and 17 assists for 23 points.
Gasseau played a key role for the Eagles in capturing their 21st Beanpot title, scoring two goals against Boston University in the Beanpot championship in the 300th meeting of the Battle of Comm Ave.
He posted a career-best 30 points during the 2024-25 campaign with a career-high 15 goals along with 15 assists.
