EUGENE, Ore. – Sydney Segalla earned a spot in Saturday’s 400m final, as Imogen Gardiner and she competed at the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Oregon at Hayward Stadium.

    NCAA Outdoor Championships

    • Gardiner competed in the second heat of the 1500m semifinal, where she finished in 10th place with a time of 4:13.08 and 20th overall. She finishes her outdoor season as an All-ACC Second Team honoree in the 1500m, as well as the record holder in the 1500m.
    • In the 400m semifinal, Segalla pushed in the final 100m to cross the line in first place in her heat and second overall with a time of 50.31. That crushed her personal best and school record by .32 seconds, making it the eighth-fastest time in the NCAA this season.

Next up: Segalla prepares for the 400m final, set for Saturday, June 13th at 9:02 p.m, as she looks to become the first NCAA Champion for Boston College in the 400m, and just second ever in program history. Action can be streamed on ESPN.
