EUGENE, Ore. – Sydney Segalla earned All-American First Team honors Saturday evening, as she competed in the final day of the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships, hosted by Oregon at Hayward Stadium.

  • Following a personal best time in the 400m semifinal to qualify for the final, Segalla recorded a 50.48 to finish fifth overall.
  • She becomes the first All-American in the event in nearly 40 years, joining Janice Reed as the only Eagles to run at an NCAA Championships in the event.
  • Segalla concluded her outdoor season with two school records and an ACC title in the 400m. She also recorded an ACC and New England record in the 400m from her personal best time of 50.31 this past Thursday
