    Eagles Finish 15th at Women’s Fleet Race National Championships

    Eagles Finish 15th at Women’s Fleet Race National Championships

    CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Sailing competed in the Women’s Fleet Race National Championships from May 15-18. The Eagles finished in 15th place with 276 points.

    Caroline Sibilly, Kennedy Laureigh, Aiesha Shekar, Paige Roby, Lanie Ferrarone, Gabrielle Trinter, and Kate Joslin represented the Eagles at the event.

    Boston College qualified for the Championships after finishing in seventh place in the Eastern Semis, where the A Division group of Caroline Sibilly and Kennedy Laureigh finished atop with 45 points, and the B Division’s Kate Joslin and Lanie Ferrarone finished 13th with 112 points. Their combined score of 157 points was enough to reach the finals.

    In the finals, the Eagles finished with 276 points to secure 15th place.

    Skipper: Kennedy Laureigh, Kate Joslin, Paige Roby, Gabrielle Trinter

    Crew: Caroline Sibilly, Aiesha Shekhar, Lanie Ferrarone
