CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College lacrosse downed Yale, 10-4, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium, hosted by Stony Brook.

With the win, the Eagles improved to 10-7 and extended their winning streak against Yale to 10 straight games.

Boston College will face No. 5 seed Stony Brook in the second round on Sunday at 12 p.m. for a chance to advance to the quarterfinals. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

It was a career day for Kylee Colbert, who scored a career-high six goals on eight shots to lead the offense, while her sister Casey Colbert added three assists.
