    Chesloff

BOSTON — Cheshire native JD Chesloff, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, has been named to Boston Magazine’s prestigious 2026 list of the 150 Most Influential Bostonians, recognizing leaders who are shaping the region’s civic, economic and cultural future.

Published annually, the list highlights individuals across business, government, sports, and innovation who are “shaping how Boston lives, works, thinks, and feels,” reflecting the broad range of influence across Greater Boston. The 2026 edition places particular emphasis on leaders who have helped guide the region through a period of uncertainty while driving forward new ideas and opportunities.

Chesloff, a Berkshire County native who grew up in Cheshire, has led the Massachusetts Business Roundtable for more than 15 years, elevating business perspectives on key issues including economic competitiveness, workforce development and public policy collaboration. Under his leadership, the organization has brought together business, government and civic leaders to address challenges facing the commonwealth and to strengthen Massachusetts’ long-term economic position.

“This recognition reflects the work of the Roundtable’s members and partners, including many from Berkshire County, and their shared commitment to ensuring that Massachusetts remains a great place to live, work and do business,” Chesloff said. “Since I’ve been at the Roundtable, it has been important to me to bring the voice and perspective of the Berkshires to state policy conversations and to intentionally connect business leaders across the state. Being recognized alongside so many impactful leaders across Massachusetts is an honor.”

The 2026 list includes leaders from across sectors, from elected officials and CEOs to innovators in science, healthcare, and technology, underscoring the diverse leadership shaping the region’s future. Chesloff’s recognition highlights the continued impact of his local roots on leadership at the highest levels of the Commonwealth.
