    CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. –  Boston College lacrosse heads to Baltimore for a 3 p.m. showdown against No. 15 Loyola Maryland on Saturday. 

    About the Eagles

    Last Time Out

    The Eagles’ offense on full display in a 22-5 win over UAlbany, setting a season best in goals while five players registered at least five points. Kylee Colbert carded a career-high six points with five goals (personal high) and one assist. Marissa White scored five times, while Giulia Colarusso (3 G, 2 A) and Casey Colbert (5 A) totaled five points. Molly Driscoll dished out a personal-best four assists with one score five points. It was tied for the sixth-highest outing in a game, while Shea Dolce became the second player in school history to reach 600 career saves. Lily Kondas registered a career-high seven draw controls as well.

    A Win Would

    – Improve BC’s record to 8-5 with a third straight win.

    – Give the Eagles a third straight win against the Greyhounds.

    By the Numbers

    5 – It was the first time since 2023 against Virginia that BC had five players score at least five points. 

    25/40 – Giulia Colarusso is the first player since Belle Smith in 2024 to reach at least 25 goals and 40 draw controls. She is also one of 18 players in the nation with at least 25 scores and 40 DCs.

    62.9 – The 62.9 percent offensive efficiency against UAlbany was a season best. 

    167 – The Eagles have 167 wins since 2017.

    604 – Shea Dolce became one of two players in school history to reach 600 saves. 

    Colarusso and Dolce Collect Awards

    Colarusso was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career, while Dolce was recognized by the league for the first time. Colarusso tied a team best with four points, thanks to three goals and an assist with a game-high seven draw controls, tying a personal best. The sophomore attacker played a key role in both points, scoring and assisting on back-to-back scores in the fourth quarter that gave BC a commanding 11-9 edge. Colarusso collected two pivotal draw controls after Stanford cut the deficit to one and after BC sealed the game with a late score. The Leominster, Mass. native is tied for the team lead with 28 goals, tied for second with 36 points and is second with 40 draw controls. Dolce totaled 11 saves with a .500 save percentage and three ground balls. Eight of her saves in the win came in the second half, highlighted by the pivotal save in the fourth quarter with two minutes left that kept the score 12-11 in the Eagles’ favor. It was the fourth game with 10-plus saves this season, while she is first in the ACC and third in the nation among active players with 604 career saves.

    Baker and Dolce Named Midseason All-American

    Shea Baker (First Team) and Shea Dolce (Honorable Mention) represented the Eagles on the ILWomen.com Midseason All-American list. Baker leads the team with 18 caused turnovers, is second with 17 ground balls and third with 28 draw controls. The Ithaca, N.Y. native has a caused turnover in 10 of 12 games with multiple CTs in five contests. She also a pair of goals. Dolce has a .456 save percentage with 108 saves, which is second in the ACC and seventh in the country. She is also third in the ACC in save percentage.

    Freshmen Stepping Up

    The tandem of Caroline Chisholm and Lily Kondas continue to step up for BC, as Kondas has 16 points with 12 goals and four assists. The attacker also has stepped into the draw circle recently, where she posted a career-high seven draw controls at UAlbany. Chisholm is tied for third with 10 ground balls, has five caused turnovers with five goals and one helper for six points. The Pennsylvania native has a point in six straight games. .

    Scouting Loyola Maryland (9-4)

    – The Greyhounds are coming off a 16-7 win over Lafayette on Wednesday.

    – Lauren Perfetto totaled seven points with five goals and two assists. 

    – Morgan Quade scored twice with four assists, carding six points. 

    – Five players have at least 30 points, with Quade boasting 19 goals and 27 assists for 46 points. 

    – Elisa Faklaris has a team-best 33 goals. 

    Series History

    Boston College is 3-1 against the Greyhounds, winning the previous two matchups, including last season in a 21-7 triumph. 

    What’s Next

    The Eagles return to ACC play next Saturday, April 11 in the final game of a three-game road trip when they face UVA in Charlottesville at 12 p.m.
