CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Men’s Golf prepares for its final regular season tournament before the ACC Championships, as they travel south for the Maridoe Invitational, hosted by North Texas, from march 28-30. The team will play at the Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.
The opening two rounds will take place on Monday morning, beginning at 9 a.m. EST in a shotgun start.
Maridoe Golf Club features an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout that stretches over 7,800 yards from the back tees, making it one of the longest courses in Texas. The course is routed across rolling Blackland prairie terrain and wraps around a 25-acre lake that comes into play on multiple holes, demanding strategic shot placement and careful risk-reward decisions.
Designed by architect Steve Smyers and reopened in 2017, the layout emphasizes firm, fast playing conditions with tightly mown runoffs, expansive native areas, and large, contoured greens that challenge approach precision and short-game creativity. A mix of lengthy par 4s, strategic par 5s, and well-defended par 3s creates variety throughout the round.
