Freshmen Stepping Up
Lily Kondas and Caroline Chisholm have stepped up for the Eagles, as Kondas is fifth on the team with 11 goals along with 13 points. The attacker has eight of her goals in the last two games, highlighted by her five-goal outing against the Tar Heels. Chisholm is fourth on the team in ground balls with 10 and is tied for fourth with five caused turnovers, while she has scored a point in four straight contests.
Pro Eagles
The Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL) held its supplemental draft on Wednesday, with five alums being drafted. Kenzie Kent ’19 and Rachel Clark ’25 were selected by the Boston Guard, and Sam Apuzzo ’19 was picked by the Maryland Charm. Sydney Scales ’24 (New York Charge) and Emma LoPinto ’25 heads west to the California Palms.
Scouting Stanford
– The Cardinal are 10-0 this season following a 14-8 win over Arizona State.
– Aliya Polisky leads the team with 28 goals and 44 points, while Mallory Hasselbeck has a team-high 21 assists with 18 goals for 39 points.
– Lucy Pearson has started nine of 10 games in the cage, posting a .427 save percentage with 44 saves.
Series History
The Eagles are 3-2 against Stanford and 2-0 since the Cardinal joined the ACC. BC defeated Stanford in a road contest last season, 17-9, and later downed the Cardinal in the ACC Tournament, 16-9.
