A Waltham nonprofit that aims to end domestic violence and supports survivors is planning its biggest annual fundraising event for Thursday, April 9.

REACH Beyond Domestic Violence‘s “The Reach for the Stars Gala” returns to the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter in Boston at 5:30 p.m. that day, according to a community announcement. The event brings together supporters to raise funds for the organization’s programming and survivor services.

“This year’s gala is more than a celebration — it’s a reflection of who we are and where we’re going,” REACH Executive Director Amarely Gutiérrez Oliver said in a statement. “At REACH, our updated mission and values — inclusion, unity, solidarity, trust and change — ground everything we do.”

The event features catered hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, silent and live auctions, a “wine pull” mystery grab-bag activity, an emceed speaking program and a photo booth, according to the announcement. Jericho Tran, NBC10 news anchor, will serve as emcee, and AE Events will provide on-site assistance.

“Our 2026 gala is an opportunity to bring together partners, advocates and community members who believe that lasting change happens when we move in unity,” Gutiérrez Oliver said in her statement.

Funds raised will support REACH’s education and prevention programs, direct advocacy services, support groups and emergency shelter, according to the announcement. These services are free for survivors and provided by trauma-informed advocates.

Tickets for the gala are available for $300 at givebutter.com/stars2026.
