    Here’s something for everyone to dig into.

    (Which is way more fun than “digging out.”)

    As athletes, coaches, and fans across the state await the start of the MIAA basketball and hockey tournaments, those involved in the Globe’s photojournalism program are offering up one more serving of scenes from the winter season.

    The more than 30 pictures below, all taken by Mass. high school students, are of wrestling, basketball, and hockey — and even of snowboarding from this past weekend’s Red Bull event at City Hall Plaza.

    (As a bonus, there’s even some pics of the Maine Celtics in G League action in Delaware.)

    The Globe’s sports photojournalism program is free to join, open to any Massachusetts high school student. To get started, just fill out the interest form here.

    Even better: You won’t need a shovel to participate.
