Not every sporting event can be great — as shown by the Patriots’ loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. But one thing that has been super week after week has been the effort put in by the high school students contributing to the Globe’s unique sports photography program. See, for example, the more than three dozen pictures in this week’s photo gallery down below.

The program is free to join, open to any Massachusetts high school student. The first step: Fill out the interest form here.

Take it from the dozens of student photojournalists all over the state who have contributed over the last two years: The victories will soon pile up.
