    Four Eagles Highlight 2025 Football All-ACC Academic Team

    CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Four Boston College Football players earned All-ACC Academic Team honors, the league office announced Friday afternoon. 

    Two players earned their second career honors, including Josiah Griffin (Springfield, Mass.) and Juan Zabal (Mexico City, Mexico). Luca Lombardo (Westport, Conn.) and VJ Wilkins (Pfafftown, N.C.) earned their first career All-ACC Academic Team honors. 

    Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0 grade point average for the previous two semesters and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and being classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s athletic contests.
