The Red Sox rounded out their spring training roster on Friday, announcing the addition of 14 non-roster invitees to big league camp.

The new invitees include infielder Mikey Romero, infielder/outfielders Max Ferguson and Tyler McDonough, outfielders Allan Castro and Braiden Ward, catchers Nate Baez and Ronald Rosario, catcher/first baseman Nathan Hickey, right-handers Tayron Guerrero, Seth Martinez, Wyatt Olds, Noah Song and Jacob Webb, and left-hander Jeremy Wu-Yelland.

The most notable name of the group is Romero, who was Boston’s top pick in the 2022 MLB Draft and who currently ranks as the organization’s No. 18 prospect according to Baseball America. Romero recently participated in the club’s rookie development program and finished last season at Triple-A.

Castro is also a well regarded prospect, currently coming in at No. 26 in the Red Sox system on Baseball America’s Top 30.

Ward and Baez are newcomers to the Red Sox organization who have been acquired in offseason trades. Ward came to Boston from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for left-hander Brennan Bernardino, and Baez was acquired on Wednesday in exchange for infielder Tristan Gray.

The new group of 14 join seven previously announced non-roster invitees. That group includes pitchers Osvaldo Berrios, Alec Gamboa, Hobie Harris, T.J. Sikkema and Devin Sweet, catcher Jason Delay, and infielder Vinny Capra.
