BOSTON (WPRI) — While the New England Patriots continue their season, one designer from Massachusetts is finding success of her own at Gillette Stadium.
“It’s been an incredible season, so everything has just worked out perfectly with this collection and I’m really excited,” Kate Weinberg said.

Weinberg is the founder of the brand “Kwein,” and just three years into her business, her new merch is being sold at the Pro Shop in Foxboro.

The 25-year-old Newton native currently has six different items for sale, including hats, shirts and sweatshirts. Her approach focuses less on traditional sports logos and more on New England-inspired imagery.
“I wanted to do something that was just New England pride,” she explained. “I went to college in Maine so I had to do the lobster. Doing a sailboat, thinking of the Charles River.”

Weinberg said she’s been receiving daily sales updates and the numbers have surpassed all expectations.
A new merchandise order was placed this week to keep up with the demand, Weinberg said, adding that she’s been in discussions about potential future designs.
