Boston College transfer wide receiver Reed Harris committed to Arizona State on Wednesday, giving the Sun Devils two top-five transfer receivers after less than a week of the portal being open.

Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro first reported on Burns & Gambo that Arizona State was all but likely going to land Harris in the portal.

The 6-foot-5, 217-pound Harris is ranked as the No. 4 wideout and No. 18 overall transfer, according to 247 Sports.

He joins a crop that already includes Colorado transfer Omarion Miller, the No. 2 receiver and No. 9 overall transfer.

Harris had 673 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 39 catches as a redshirt sophomore in 2025, playing 72% of his snaps out wide, according to PFF. He had two games with more than 140 yards.

He also totaled 486 yards and four touchdowns on 17 catches (28.6 yards per catch) in 2024.

It’s been heavy on the offense to begin the transfer portal cycle for ASU, with Kentucky quarterback Cutter Boley marking the first addition. Miller and two running backs — Villanova’s David Avit and Delaware State’s Marquis Gillis, both of whom were very productive at the FCS level — followed.

Washington transfer Raiden Vines-Bright made three receivers in the early-going.

Miller and Harris project as starters to replace Jordyn Tyson and Malik McClain, with Jalen Moss likely slotting in as the third starting wideout after his 129-yard effort in the Sun Bowl.

There’s work still to be done on the offensive line and defense, but ASU has started the cycle very well by nabbing several potential offensive contributors.
