Natick High’s Bianchi tops divisionals
Natick High School’s John Bianchi finished first at the MIAA Division 1B championships in Wrentham on Saturday, Nov. 8 with a time of 15:51.60 over the 5K course. Teammates Declan Hava (3rd), Callum Doyle (7th), and Freddie Van der Velden (9th) all raced to top 10 finishes.
The Redhawks as a team finished second to Concord-Carlisle.
The girls team placed 8th, with Samantha McMorrow finishing as Natick’s top runner.
All States take place on Nov. 15th in Devens, Mass.

Applications available for non-profits to score Boston Marathon bibs
As a community along the Boston Marathon course, Natick gets a handful of invitational bibs that get doled out to non-profits as fundraisers and to municipal departments
Interested area non-profits and municipal departments must submit an application no later than 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 28.
The entries will be provided to Marathon runners who commit to raising a minimum of $4,500 for the selected organizations.
