BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WWLP) – The Mini Fenway fundraiser has launched, intending to raise $400,000 to support major upgrades to the community baseball field in Belchertown.
The planned improvements include replacing the iconic Green Monster wall, constructing a new storage shed and concession stand, adding a covered batting cage, and installing a fully ADA-compliant bathroom facility. These upgrades aim to enhance the accessibility and functionality of Mini Fenway, a space where children of all abilities come together to play and grow.
Community members are encouraged to contribute to the fundraiser at givebutter.com/MiniFenwayBLL. Donations of any size are welcome, and contributors can become Mini-Fenway Sponsors, receiving recognition ranging from social media shout-outs to naming rights for a major feature of the field.
