LOWELL — On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, local artists will come together to perform at the second annual Sing for St. Jude event, to be held at the Taffeta Music Hall in Lowell.

This is a fundraiser event to benefit the St. Jude Children Research Hospital, and is hosted by the local charity Fitness for a Cure.

Fitness for a Cure is a charitable performance team that has been serving the Merrimack Valley area for 26 years, raising over 9.7 million dollars to benefit the children of St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

The Sing for St. Jude event in Lowell is put together by local Fitness for a Cure members Katie McCauley and Stephen Sarrouf, and features four local artists performing in a mini musical festival atmosphere.

Tewksbury resident Katie McCauley not only is helping to organize this event, but will also be performing.

McCauley started her music career in her basement while performing on a karaoke machine, and today her performing and writing skills have brought her success in the music business.

While working at SLS Fitness, McCauley found her passion for philanthropy and joined the New England based charity Fitness for a Cure, which ultimately led to organizing and performing in the “Sing for St. Jude” event.

The Nov. 8 event will feature the musical talents of Zane Christopher, King Kyote, Katie McCauley, and Muerdermart.

Organizers of this event are excited to give these local artists the opportunity to give back while showcasing their talent in a festival style show.

Audience members will be able to enjoy an evening of great local talent while helping to win the fight to end childhood cancer.

This event is for those 18 years and up, and the Taffata Music Hall is located at 110 Western Ave. in Lowell.

The show begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Those interested in supporting this charity may also want to mark your calendar for Fitness for a Cure’s 27th annual major fundraising event coming up on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This event will take place at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium and features a family-friendly, fun daytime event as well as an evening gala event.
