    Monson Savings Bank donated $2,000 to the Miracle League of Western Massachusetts. The donation, made as a part of the 2025 Bank’s Community Giving Initiative, will help the organization continue its mission of providing children with disabilities the opportunity to play baseball in a safe and supportive environment.

    Walmart customers in Springfield were recently welcomed inside the new Supercenter at 1105 Boston Road.

    The store manager and several associates presented $5,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations, including: Strong Minds Youth Development, $2,000; The Gray House, $1,500; Fishing Friends, $1,500.

    Keiter Corp. has established a physical presence in Berkshire County. This marks the company’s second expansion in two years.

    Keiter’s new Berkshire County location will be based in the Clock Tower Business Center at 75 Church St. in Pittsfield. Keiter was founded in Florence and is now headquartered in West Springfield.

    Founded in 2010, Keiter is a family-owned construction services company.

    The Keiter Card campaign, which just completed its fifth year, has injected $250,000 into the Northampton economy by doubling the spending power of gift cards sold by the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce.

    OMG Building Products LLC, has completed construction of a new deck and pavilion at its headquarters facility on Bowles Road in Agawam.

    The 1,300-square foot structure includes two levels, as well as a roof with a cupola over the largest portion. In total, the structure is 54-feet long by 24-feet wide with a roof over the 34-foot-long upper level. The 20-foot-long lower level is uncovered.

    The pavilion was designed by OMG’s FastenMaster Division, using many of the company’s decking products, and built by company employees as a training project.

The event will feature Jessika Rozki, founder of Rozki Rides LLC, as the keynote speaker, and the WWLP Morning Team — Kaelee Collins, Julia O’Keefe, and Chris Bouzakis — as emcees.

    The Hampden County Sheriff’s Posse, an organization created this year to support domestic violence awareness and prevention across the county, presented a $45,000 donation to the YWCA of Western Massachusetts on Oct. 21, at Chicopee Country Club.

    The donation was made in memory of Eileen Monaghan, executive assistant to Sheriff Nick Cocchi, who was tragically murdered by her boyfriend in 2024. Funds were raised during the Sheriff’s Posse’s first annual golf tournament, which drew more than 250 participants and supporters.

    The Hampden County Sheriff’s Posse operates under the Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation and works alongside Sheriff Cocchi to provide vital resources and assistance to victims of abuse. The group is dedicated to improving lives and creating positive change in the community through fundraising and outreach initiatives.
