The Globe’s unique sports photojournalism program not only showcases the work of high school students from across Massachusetts, but it also highlights their versatility.
Many of the 120+ students actively participating in this program are also shooting pictures for their school’s newspapers, websites, social media, and yearbook. And they’re not only covering one sport.
For example, Sophie Ziomek, a senior at Amherst-Pelham Regional High School, has pictures in this week’s photo gallery of football, field hockey, golf, and volleyball. All told, there are 17 students represented among the photos down below, with nearly 50 photos.
