The 2025 International Winter Sports Expo will be held from October 16 to 19 at Shougang Park in Beijing’s Shijingshan district. This year’s expo, with the theme of “To The World A New Chapter,” will feature nearly 20,000 square meters of exhibition space, where over 500 renowned brands from around the globe will showcase their significant achievements.
More than 20 forums and supporting events will host over 200 top speakers from the global winter sports sector for in-depth exchanges.
With a focus on international exchanges and cooperation in winter sports, as well as ice and snow equipment, tourism, and culture, this year’s Expo encompasses four major segments: exhibitions, forums and conferences, industry matching, and featured events.
The event will see participation from winter sports powerhouses like Austria, Italy, Canada, Finland, and Slovenia, alongside numerous prominent international and domestic brands.
Winter tourism has also become a popular lifestyle choice. Numerous ice and snow travel destinations from both China and abroad will also be featured at this year’s expo.
During the champion meet-and-greet sessions, Olympic speed skating champion and International Olympic Committee member Zhang Hong, world figure skating champion Tong Jian, world curling champion Wang Bingyu, and China’s first world champion in freestyle skiing, Guo Dandan, will make appearances to interact with fans.
The highly anticipated “China Ice and Snow Industry Development Research Report (2025)” will also be released during the International Winter Sports Expo.
The report covers in-depth research on the ice and snow manufacturing industry, ice and snow tourism, training industry, event industry, and the development of winter sports industries abroad.
It aims to reveal the development trends of China’s ice and snow industry through comprehensive data, provide guidance for global winter sports companies entering the Chinese market, offer direction for the development of China’s ice and snow industry, and support the growth of the ice and snow economy.
The 10th in its history, the expo is part of the lasting legacy in venues, talent and culture of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, a significant driver for the country’s winter sports in recent years. The upcoming Olympic Winter Games Milano-Cortina 2026, scheduled for February 6-22, is also an opportunity to continue the fast development of the ice and snow industry.
