CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College volleyball team (12-4, 1-3 ACC) welcomes #6 Stanford (12-3, 3-1 ACC) Friday and Cal (5-9, 2-2 ACC) Sunday to open ACC play at home. Both matches will be streamed on ACCNX.
 
Friday is Youth Night, Sunday will be our Dig Pink match.
 
A LOOK AT THE OPPOSITION
#6 Stanford – Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 p.m.

  • Sophia Johnson leads the back row tallying 183 digs, averaging 3.45 per set.
  • Mikayla Hayden leads the Golden Bears posting 61 blocks.

 
SERIES HISTORY
#6 Stanford
This match marks the third time the Cardinals and Eagles meet. Stanford holds a 2-0 record over Boston College. The first time these teams met was in September of 2005; the most recent meeting was in October of 2024 where the Cardinals recorded a 3-0 victory.
 
Cal
This match marks the second time the Golden Bears and Eagles meet. The sole time these teams met was October of 2024, the Eagles recorded a 3-2 victory over Cal. BC holds a 1-0 record over the Golden Bears.
